Looking for a peice of yew.
« on: August 29, 2014, 10:13:00 PM »
Ok I am willing a to trade some hedge for one billet of yew. At MOJAM they put out a challenge for a franken bow. The rules were simple no backing and the limbs had to be of different woods. You could either splice or do a take down. My plan is a yew/hedge take down. I was thinking of using the good limb of my first hedge bow that broke. So I need a just one billet of yew enough to make one limb so at lest 34" long heck if you have a yew long bow that failed but has good limb I would take the good limb. If any can help me out shoot me a PM and I will send you pics of the hedge staves I have. They are short ones 60" or less but I also have some hedge billets.

Thanks
