This one is a Hickory backed with bamboo. I had some trouble with my glue-up and one of the limbs separated. I roughed both pieces up and glued them back together. I made it for a buddy of mine. I liked it so much I am making one for myself to hunt this year. I finished the glue-up and wondering if using a bandsaw to remove the bulk of the wood and shape the handle is taking away from the traditional side of things. The first one was done with rasps and scrapers, what a job that was. I want to move quicker with this one so it will be ready for hunting season and some practice before hand. Any thoughts?
I don't know how to add pics. Any help out there?
