hold on boys !
...here comes the twist.
the bow was shooting really good, being lite the speed was exellent, than this morning all of a sudden I started to feel a drop in weight, sure enougth the upper limb developed huge frets.
I took pictures on the tillering tree to show the collaps in the limb.
the funny thing is that after I unstrung the bow it went back to 1" of reflex in no time.
...Well back to the faithfull GUAVA.
James, I once made a lemon Eucalyptus backed with bamboo, it did good untill I ruined it (I didn't know any better)
I would try the smooth barcked speacies first.
I have an other stave from this tree, I will try it unbacked.
