Building limbs for a TD recurve
« on: November 11, 2014, 07:13:00 AM »
Sure this has been hammered but I have a bow that the bowyer is no longer building. I would love to give building my own limbs a try. I don't have an elaborate work shop and was wondering a couple things.

1, Can I use the original limbs for my form layout?

2, What's the best way to make a gig for the holes for the TD system?

You can use the limbs for a template- as for a drilling jig- if you use a drill press you can just lay out the holes and drill them without a jig.
