Have any of you guys ever heard of sourwood before and is it a decent bow wood I've never heard of it before unless there is another name for it.

Sourwood(Oxydendron arboretum) is an understory tree of the Eastern US. Sourwood shoots make great arrows(my favorite shafting)and will make a bow but I'd rather use other woods for bows.
