Hybrid stack help

Getting ready to build a 55# 64" D/R Hybrid I was thinking

18" riser
Power lam 4" past fades on either side
4" tip wedges

.04 glass
.03 parallel
.09 tapper .002
.06 tapper .001
.09 tapper .002
.03 parallel
.05 glass

Total stack: .390
Total tapper .005
 
Questions:
Would like to start at 1-3/4" wide at fades down to 3/8" at tips, but not sure what that will do to my target weight with this stack?

Binghams calls for  .391 total stack but I believe that's with a .002 total taper I was thinking by going to 1-3/4 wide with the power lam I would make up the loss of poundage I have with my extra .003 worth of total tapper

could end up really whip-tipped-
-when you increase width--taper--and add a power lam all of which will stiffen the limb butts IMO a lot! and the taper increase will leave the tips very weak in relation to the butts causing all the bend in the tips

Bamboo, shouldn't the tip wedges eliminate the whip tip problem?

Why have so much taper only to 'lose' it by putting tip wedges in?

only one way to be sure-and that is to squeeze one up!!--do you have a picture of the form?

With my very limited understanding of bow making (newbe) I thought using I higher total taper makes the limb faster cause it's lighter but then you get into a whip tipped bow and need the tip wedges to counteract the tapper at the tips.... But I could be very wrong to.
I don't have a pic of the form yet cause I haven't built it, but it will be light on the deflex and heavyer on the reflex that's kinda why I was looking at a higher tapper rate ( to get the limbs to flex and hopefully put a little speed in there.

If you make it really narrow, .005 is doable. If 1.5" wide it will be pretty limp at tips.

Also I built one looking for speed with little deflex and much reflex at tips. I couldn't shoot it very well at all. I guess it must have torqued easily or something.

IMO if you keep the tips 2" or less ahead of back (target side) of riser, when unstrung , you will have a nicer shooter.
