Couple of carbon arrow ?'s
«

I'm looking for some help in picking carbons shafts for a late model BW PMA, 54 lb @ 30", with a B50 string. What shaft size and point weight would be a good starting point? I'm also trying to keep this simple.
Next question: What glue works best for fletching and what do I need to do for shaft prep?
Thanks Much

CX heritage 145 gr point. I would get a 3R test kit so you can look at all the cx sizes. I use easton epoxy, clean the carbon dust out of the shaft after cutting is all I do for prep. Glue cures in 24 hours. dino

A few questions first.
Do you draw 30"?
Do you want to hunt? If so what weight and style broadhead will you use?
How heavy would you like the arrow to be?
Fletch-Tite Platinum for fletching or fletching tape if you've got good eyes.Maby someone knows more about prep than me.
