A clear finish for wood that is all natural? With the true blues of the tips and handle of my St Jude's bow, I don't want it changed by an amber tinted finish. I normally use "natural" Danish oil, then wax with a beeswax/pitch blend. But that imparts a clearly visible amber tone to the wood. Most of the time it's great, but with this odd wood I want to get the most out of it.
I thought about a paraffin finish on the tips and handle only, as the Danish oil will work just fine over the rest of it.
Any thoughts? I'm open to suggestions.
