!!! St Jude Auction dates & Hunt Conflics...Please Read !!!

Guys and Gals...Doug and I would like to set the dates for the St Judes auction.....but we sure don't want to run it during a big group hunt and have folks miss out. We usually have the aucion the 1st week of June....and end on the Sunday after memorial day weekend.

So,...we'd like to hear of any hunt conflics..like Tom and Tippits bear hunt I know is in June...what are the dates?

Any other hunts going on and when???

Quebec Quest Bear Hunt is the last 2 weeks of June.  So we are safe if St Judes is first week...tippit

Just to clarify Terry, group 1 will be in Quebec 6/8-14, group 2 will be 6/14-21 (maybe add a day on each end for travel for some).

I'd hate to miss it, but you gotta plan the dates when you can. Besides, I have a proxy bidder in my house...and she shore knows how to spend money

The Sunday after Memorial Weekend is June 1st.  So would it run the last week in May or the first week in June?  :confused:  Either way, I'm in!

I didn't look on the calendar...but looks like June 1st might be the date....gotta check with Doug though.

You might have to wait a day or two before you manage to reach Doug, he is in transit to the islands and some sun for a couple of weeks.

Chatted with him today....now we got the end date,......MAYBE...if we do the 4 day deal...the last one will end on June 4th..

However....we are concerned with the 4 day deal now....we will have 4000 new members since the last auction...and we are seriously concerned with the server crashing every night instead of just one.

We have chatted about piggy backing another server just for this event...but that's certainly not my realm of expertise....I'll chat with Rob again about that.....

Tough job Terry, but with over 15,000 members I'm sure whatever dates you pick will not fit everyone's schedule. You and your crew have done a heck of a job in the past several years and I'm sure this year will be another great one. Us TradGangers are a resourceful and determined group, we'll find a way to participate and help the kids no matter what dates you pick. Can't wait!!

15,000 members! There is no way that we shouldn't be able to raise at least $100,000. A $150,000 is not out of the question, just think about it that is $10 per person. I have been waiting on this years auction since the servers crashed last year!

I was moving across the country when the auction happened last year, I still have last years money and this years now.  Oh and I ain't moving this year!

The end date of Sunday June 1st might be the end date of the 1st 'category'...and Wed night the 4th for the last one....Doug and I will finalize that soon...but those dates are tenative...and will be here before you know it!!!
