This will probably seem like a dumb question, but here goes anyway.
Has anybody ever tried making lams from the strand type bamboo flooring?

Been there, done that. Don't waist your money. It's too heavy and very unpredictable. I used to offer it in veneers. I tried it in a couple bows myself and both came out under weight.
