Riser Wood

Will hackberry,mesquite,make a good riser wood? Newbie question!

Not sure about the Hackberry but misquite should. It's nice and hard. With the Hackberry if your worried about stability put a I beam into your riser to help stabilize it.

Hackberry is plenty tough without an I beam.
