NM elk guides?
«
on:

I'm considering a guide for NM this year to up my odds of drawing a good tag. I have a buddy who wants to go and since NM is a no point state, I'm considering this option. Would like to hunt the Gila or similar quality unit. Have a friend that went rifle with Beaverhead Outfitters last year and did well. Any advice?

Julian,
Although I haven't hunted elk with him Tom Klumpker would be a good choice.

I sent you a PM with a few more details.

Trey Weckman did a drop camp with one day of guiding for me and Whip and two other guys last year. Worked out great. Contact through..

I'm going back with a different group of friends with their preferred outfitter, Rob Degner. They've had good luck in the past. Better hurry as most slots are spoken for way in advance.
