Red cedar

need photos of bows with red cedar veneers. Need some ideas for wood combos in the riser.

Here is a southern red cedar with Paduak and Cocobolo in the riser.

I'm gonna have to re think Red Cedar... We have lots of Red Cedar on our property.
Chuck Norris had a Grizzly Bear rug in his room...The Bear wasn't dead,  just to afraid to move...

I don't believe any of that is western red cedar, could be wrong but I've never seen that coloration in western red. And I have cut and milled MANY thousands of board feet of western.

Aromatic red  cedar is fine but you cull a ton of it if you want clear cedar. I've made a few Hill bows from it and it's nice and shoots well too. I really like a thin character piece with knots and streaks  on the back and red core.
