Limb wedge direction

I think I screwed up.... I glued up my first limb today and think I put my limb wedge in backwards. I notice that one side has a smaller flat part to it. I faced that towards the back of the bow and the longer side towards the belly. Did I just ruin this limb??? I hope I didn't

As long as the wedge tapers into the limb, towards the tip, it is facing the right direction. Now as far as being right side up, that would really depend on how your form is shaped. The shorter flat of the wedge can be on the back or belly as long as the form is meant for it that way. If your glue lines are tight, you're probably fine. Post a pic when you get the epoxy boogers cleaned off.

Came out ok I think... I got in touch with South Cox on social media and took a few moments and reassured me I would be ok. Really nice guy to talk to.

Looks good to me. As long as the flat on the belly side is as long or longer than your limb pad on the riser you'll be fine. Those veneers are spectacular! What are they?

They are myrtle veneers

I did that on a bow a few years ago.  I didn't notice it until it was almost finished.  It shoots great.  No one even notices it unless I tell them.  You'll be fine.

wouldn't the flat side of the wedge always face down onto the form?
