45" Osage kids selfbow
« on: May 04, 2016, 09:46:00 PM »
Haven't made one of these in years. I started this stave in Peoria il and then moved it  tacross the U.S. and back finally finishing it the past couple weekends.  It is heading across the street to a little girl who is really excited to get a bow.

Very cool, Brad!

You're a great neighbor

I have found these little kid's bows are very hard to tiller because of the small amount of wood in the limbs. One scrape will make changes on a little bow that ten scrapes wouldn't on a full sized bow.

You did great job!

Well Brad I knew you did great glass bows but, never knew you did wooden ones as well. It appears to be every bit the equal of your great glass bows.  That is going to be one very happy young girl.  Good for you.
