In a bind
« on: October 12, 2016, 05:04:00 PM »
I just started using the dip tube with gasket laquer to finish my arrows and all of my feathers keep falling off. Help please? What fletching glue will stick to this stuff? Fletch-tite platinum does NOT!!  I have about 8 dz arrows that won't hold a feather right now.

My wife gave me some double sided 1/4" craft tape. Works like a charm.  I put a dab of super glue on each end of the feather.  Rarely any problems.

Thanks guys. What a nightmare. I would think they would put in big bold print "don't use fletch-tite" but whatever.

I just bought 6 tubes of Duco off the big auction site for twelve bucks and change, delivered.
