Smooth-on question
« on: October 16, 2016, 09:56:00 PM »
Doing a father son bow build on weekends when my son comes home from college. He likes the tri-lam bows so we are building two at the same time... monkey see monkey do method. I normally use unbind 800 but decided to try smooth-on. will it work ok on the tri-lams?
gonna be bamboo back, action boo core and osage belly. Also is curing at room temp ok or should I build a heat box?

Cooling at room temp -- 70F or more works just fine, although it takes longer than a heatbox.  I build all my wood-glass composites without a heatbox.
