Working at designing a three piece TD 14" riser with 62 or 64" limbs. generally how far do the limbs over lap the riser pads where the bolt and alignment pin are?

I have built two 3 piece bows (all wood) and use a 3 3/4".   My PSE recurve has a 3 1/2" riser pad. I think some guys build using a 4" pad.
