safety/health issues with Bo-Tuff glass?
« on: February 05, 2017, 06:05:00 PM »
Assuming standard efforts to vacuum/contain any dust, are there any health concerns with using Bo-Tuff glass?

Do I need to take any extra precautions? My workshop is also my garage where we store stuff for my kids...they are also in-and-out on a regular basis (particularly during the summer). just want to make sure that I'm not going to sure they won't be inhaling tiny shards of glass!

thanks!

You cannot really contain it all with dust collection.  Take Extra Precautions when cleaning up fiberglass dust.

Mask, glasses, wet mop the place when you're done.

I would rather fail at something above my means, than to succeed at something  beneath my means
