Sundays bownanza...
« on: February 07, 2017, 06:50:00 AM »
Had 4 guys in the shop Sunday.

Dave on the edge sander, Kenny rasping on a tri lam, and Jerry working on another tri lam.

Denny stitching up a leather grip.

Daves bow, 68 tip to tip cause he has a 31 inch draw.

It just fit in the drying box.

Kenny with his wife's bow on the tree.

And Annie chewing sinew for me, LOL.

We had lasagna and hot dogs with sour kraut for lunch. Plus a few cold beers to wash down the dust.

Looks like quite the cast of characters Roy.  I'll have to try the dog processing sinew thing, takes me too long to chew those leg tendons LOL.

Dan, trouble with her chewing the sinew was collecting it in the yard the next day. It was a little too soft and brown. We quit drinking beer and making bows. Now we work on the bows, then take a swig, then work on bows, etc.

Bunch of good guys though and we get along great. Kenny is my best friend and personal body guard. He's one big dude. But he is such a cool dude.

Cept he's a darn mailman. His route is in the bad section of Pittsburgh, and all the brothers are scared of him.

Roy, sounds like I'd better rethink that  dog sinew processing thing.

That looks like a good way to spend the day.  Which one of those guys punched you and broke your tooth?

I'm guessing Denny. If not, Denny should have done it long ago. It's not like it's a big deal... so easy, even a chicken can do it
