Help with old wooden bow

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right spot, but I figured that you guys know quite a bit about wooden bows. One of my dads friends dropped off a few old bows that he found at his house today and asked if I could make some strings for them. One is an old Bear Panda that seems to be in good condition. The other is a wooden bow that I'm a bit worried about messing with. I have no clue how old this bow is, but the guy told me it was his grandpas. When he brought it over, the bow was strung with a rather high brace height. Apparently it was stored that way. As you can see in the pictures, the bow has taken a pretty decent amount of set. The limbs are scuffed and worn but I can't see anything that should cause to much concern structure wise. The guy wants to be able to let his kids shoot in, but I'm not certain whether or not this bow should be shot anymore. I'll make a string for it none the less, but what do you guys think? Should I tell him this one is a wall hanger or let him shoot it? If you guys need some different pics, please let me know. Thanks for your help!
   

Here are the only marks on the bow. I don't know what the BB stands for. It's kind of tough to see in the picture, but the numbers below it are 60, 26, 24. I assume that means a 60 inch bow that is 24@26?

It looks like a typical lemonwood longbow from the 1940's and 50's. Is there any backing on the bow? Possibly a York. Are there any frets(compression fractures) on the belly? They would look like thin cracks going across the belly.
 I don't think I'd try to shoot that bow. Probably better as a wall hanger.

I agree with Pat on it being a wall hanger, especially if it was left strung up for years.

Ok, thanks guys. That's kind of what I was thinking. I'll tell the guy it's probably not a shooter anymore. If the bow breaks, he's gonna be the one that did it though, not me. No way I'm gonna take any chances with someone else's grandpa's bow.    :eek:
