to prep coco and bocote befor glue up sand it
with 36 grit and blow the dust away with a compressor.
glue it with smooth-on.
to prep almost anykind of oily wood to acsept the finish, rub superglue on to it first
let it dry an sand again.
then continue with ur finish.

greetings shantam
bowbuilding is fun

I clean it with acetone before gluing, but like said a spray poly will not dry.You need to seal it or use the super glue to seal it.I found that out,I sprayed some poly on bacote and it never really dried even after 6 months.I spread super glue with my finger and a rubber glove, you will be suprised how far a little tube will spread.
