Heres a persimmonflatbow I got done a few weeks ago. I do t have the bow in hand so im going off memory for the dimensions. 4” handle, 2” fades, limbs are 28” from fade to nock and are parallel till midlimb tapering to 3/8” tips. The overlays and shelf are bacote. There is one coat of rubbed in linseed oil then about 10 coats of truoil. It took about an inch of set all said and done. It’s a good solid shooter but nothing outstanding in performance. It was heat treated too.
The guy I built it for liked the look of 1.5” wide limbs and wanted it a bit overbuilt as he was afraid of it breaking on him. So I made the limbs a bit longer than I normally would have, to compensate for being slightly narrower than I would’ve liked to have done. But I won’t complain about the results
Thanks for looking,
Kyle
