sitka spruce

how is it going out there!  was just wonderin how good sitka spruce shafts are compared to POC.  i am looking at ordering some stuff from foxfire and wanted to got some opinions before i did. i am going to be ordering them in 50-55# spine group.  thanks for all the help!!

Sitka spruce makes nice arrows.

The only down side is that they just don't smell as good as
POC when they break.    :)

I like it better then POC. Takes stains better and is stronger. It's been said that it's lighter then POC but if you ask shafts on the heavy side, you should be able to get them.
