Another tiller ?
« on: March 10, 2008, 04:00:00 PM »
Just picked up another recurve. After tuning it it ended up with a higher nocking point than what I consider usual. Checked the tiller on it and it's tillered even, same on both ends. My other bows are short on bottom, could this be why it needs the higher nock? Seems to shoot fine, just bugs me when I look at it at rest and see that arrow sitting that high on the string. Thanks David

No idea...  Some bows just shoot better on their own terms.

Guess so. Had a old guy tell me to throw away the square, that every bow is different. Set it to the sweet spot and shoot it.
