A DIY Forum
« on: January 15, 2010, 12:12:00 PM »
Just an idea. We have a forum for Bowyers and one for Knifesmithing.

Could we combine these under a DIY forum and have sub-forums for projects like stringmaking and arrowsmiths?

Just a thought.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

i think you mean a DYI forum category that contains bowyers, knife makers, string makers, arrow makers, etc.

the bowyer and knifemaker forums were created because those kinda topics overwhelmed the powwow.

i don't see that many posts for strings or arrows - yet.  one thing we don't want is yet another forum to deal with.  but i'll look into this and talk it over with terry.

thanx for your suggestion!

I was just thinking that you could remove 3 Catagories (How-to archive, bowyers and knifemakers)and add one(DIY) and centralize all the craft stuff.

Anyway, it was a slow time at work and I had nothing better to do!!!!

I'm always up for reevaluating things, might be a good thing and entice ppl to post more on how to make other archery items
1) Gen. 21:20
And God was with the lad, he grew, and he dwelt in the wilderness, and he became an archer
2)The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.
