? about using "search"
« on: May 27, 2011, 01:26:00 PM »
How do you use the search engine to search the Ashby reports?  I've done it hundreds of times for subjects in "Powwow", but every time I try searching in the Ashby reports I get nothing.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks for your help.

I would try asking this in the "Tradgang & computers" forum. Good luck!

Lee,
Don't know how recent the report is that you're looking for, but there are a bunch under Topic Archives/ Dr. Ashby reports.

Thanks for the replies but I guess I need to be more specific.  When I go to "search", I enter "delta" under "search words".  Under "search forum" I scroll down to "Dr. Ashby reports" and click on that.  I then go to "search in" and click on "entire message" and also click on "any date".  It comes up as "your search did not return any results".  I'm trying to find what Dr. Ashby reported on Delta broadheads without having to review each and every report.  Thanks again for ya'lls help.

I didn't even know there was such a forum on TG. I've got to check it out.

PLEASE don't post questions like this anywhere but within the computers forum.  the powwow is for trad bowhunting/archery, not techie forum questions.

you can find out where the ashby reports are located via the forum search engine, but you cannot search within the contents of any of the ashby reports as they all are pdf files.
