PM missing??

This has happened to me a couple of times recently. I have an email from Tradgang that I have a PM. The email contains the message but when I check in here there is no message. Why?

I've had that happen myself, also had PMs go "unread by recipient" but gotten responses to that PM. Maybe certain phones or tablets have something to do with it...    I'd be interested to know the reason myself.

A while back, right when I was in the process of selling a bow, I crashed my puter.  I blame photo bucket, the new download was not the same and I tried one too many things trying to get it to do what I wanted..

Same thing happened to me the other day.

Sometimes the sender uses email rather than a PM - without looking closely it can be difficult to tell the difference.  Also, a message can go "unread by recipient" and you still get a response when they read it on their own email server rather than opening up their PM account.  Make sense?

Looked again, it was an email not a pm
