Spring turkeys
« on: May 03, 2010, 10:22:00 AM »
I have had a great season so far in 2010. I took a 19# gobbler with a 9 inch beard with my black widow PSAX recurve at 8 yards with a wood arrow and wensel woodsman broadhead. The next day I killed an 18# gobbler with a 9 inch beard with my recurve and a carbon express heritage with a NAP hellrazor broadhead at 12 yards. They both came in to my hen and jake setup. The first gobbler had two other ones with him and they roughed up my jake a little bit. It was really a thrill.
