SC Gator
« on: October 12, 2010, 08:06:00 PM »
It took alot of time this year to fill my tag, but well worth it!

Gator measures 8'3".

50# Zipper SXT w/evolution recurve limbs.
300 spine axis full metal jacket with point weight of 550 grains for a total arrow weight of 950 grains.

The second arrow shot from 5 feet into the back of the neck did not penetrate past the barbs!

It is a draw hunt. They issue 1000 tags a year. This is the 3rd year.

Wow that is great! Look like they are not easy to kill?!? What is the # of your bow? How do you "retreave" the thing??

Is the last pic the tag, and has his tail been gator bait also?

Yes, the last pic is the tag and there is around 6" of the tail missing. It has been healed for a long time.
