Up In Point weight ?

Right now I'm shooting a 30" 2016 125 grn up front from my Silver Tip, non FF. If I want to go up in point weight to 150 grn. Does this move me to the next shaft 2018 /-150 grn 30" arrow. Confused , Thanks !!

mike..im assuming your asking if an extra 25 grains would weaken your 2016 spine enough to bump up to the 2018.... youd probably have to test to find out...id say probably not...especially with dacron... you could also build your side plate out a tad

You should try it and see,do you need a 30" arrow? If you don't and need the 2016 to be alittle stiffer you could shorten them up a 1/4" at a time. You are only going up 25 grs. and a 2016 has a .531 spine and the 2018 has a .464 spine.A 2018 would work also but maybe longer but you'll need to test them out.
