Dale Sanford bows

I just bought a 62" Recurve built by Dale Sanford from a hunting buddy. The bow was built for him. Now I am the second owner. The bow is 62", 46# @ 28". Has anyone here ever heard of this bowyer? Does anyone here own one of these bows and what do you think of it?

Larry, I usally only shot Silvertips until I ran across a bow that Dale made. Its Truly a awesome 50's style recurve. I usally shoot around 70lbs but this bow is 60lbs. I use it for small game and deer hunting. Dale is a great bowyer but not known as well as some of the others. Rest assured that you are shooting a top quality bow. And he backs them up 100%, hes a good guy to deal with.
Good luck with your new bow.

Billy,
Thank you for your vote of confidence in Dale's bows. This bow is only a year or two old. I have shot this bow on a couple occasions while we were target shooting. It is a sweet shooter and it is surely a great looking bow. I am proud to own it. This is the second traditional bow I have bought my other bow is a Hornes, Mountain T/D. Some day I hope to find a long bow to add to my collection.

Check out the product review section. It may be archived by now but I did a review of Dale's bows a year or so ago. He is a fine gentlemen and a good bowyer. Nice bows in all respects. tom massaro
