Aluminum arrow selection. [help requested]
« on: March 15, 2008, 06:58:00 PM »
Hi,
My new/first bow should be arriving early next week  and I was wondering if anyone here could suggest the correct arrow I should purchase.
I'll post pics when it arrives as a barter for your help.   :)   Leopardwood and yellowheart riser with bacote limbs.   :)

Anyhow, the bow is custom made, #45 @ 25". I'd like to cut the arrows @ 27" in case my form changes over time and my draw gets a tad bit longer. I plan on using 125 grain heads/points. If there's information I'm excluding please ask for more info.

Could I use a 1916 or is this an 1816/1820 setup?

If it's 1816/1820 do ya have any recommendations for a hunting arrow that preferably has a solid color shaft. Also, a site that sells them with feather option available. I have no clue how to fletch and the arrows I've seen in the 1816 category (stalker junior, X7 eclipse) come with plastic vanes.

Thanks in advance!    :notworthy:
