Took a walk.

I took a walk in the woods on Sunaday morning.
I didn't find any sheds but i did find a few interesting things.
Like these....
Sorry for the low quality pics, I only had my phone with me.
The black dots are hundreds of frog eggs. There where clouds of them floating in the pond.
Here are a couple rubs that I found.
The stick leaning against the tree in pic 2 is a walking stick I made. We have alot of curly trees around here.

Nice! We're still several weeks from being able to see the ground up here, there's still 22" of snow in my backyard.

I have not heard any spring peepers yet. Surprised you have eggs all ready.

We've had peepers for about two weeks now. I love seeing frog and toad eggs. They played an important part in inviting me to learn their world. It makes me seven years old again to find them and explore their surroundings.

The frogs started making noise about a week ago.
When they really get going it gets pretty loud.
I like to turkey hunt near the pond in the spring, but sometimes I think the frogs drown out my calling.
