Not What I Was After
« on: October 25, 2015, 10:08:00 AM »
I love to hog hunt but really only pursue them during closed deer season. I have been scouting and learning some new public land near home for the last two seasons. I have been getting some pics of good bucks for my area and daylight pics to boot. So I have my attention focused on deer. Well this big boar came sauntering in feast on red oak acorns. I knew no deer would join him so I decided to shoot when given the chance. I filmed it with a Nikon L14 point in shoot digital camera. Tough shot angle at 4 yards and I was 15' up. The Magnus Stinger did the job.

Is that a hog or a small rhino?
