Me and a few of my trad buddies are going to attend.

The Tennessee Classic, May 4,5,6. 35 miles north of Nashville, Tenn.
One of the best trad shoots I've ever been to and getting to be one of the best wood bow building gatherings also. If you have the time folks will be arriving the weekend before the official shoot.
I've posted info in a thread about it here in
Pow Wow.

The ASTB has 3 more shoots at Briarfield Iron Works south of Birmingham.
Here is a link to their schedule.

The Jerry Pierce Shoot and the Catch a Dream shoot at Lake Enid in Ms (about 50 miles south of Tunica) are a couple of the best, small crowd, terrific courses and the best Saturday evening feed you will ever find at a shoot. They are hosted by Southern Traditional Archery
The shoot is at the Persimmon Hill Campground on Lake End. The campground is a Corp Of Engineers campground and the best I have ever camped at.
If you plan to go check with them to make sure of the dates as sometimes they are slow to update their website from year to year. The dates shown on their website now are from last year.
Here is what the campground looks like. Abe and Michelle are putting up a tent while I supervise from the comfort of my camper.

Not major shoots, but Lost Tribe in West Th has theirs on the second Saturday each month. Great club and better people.

The Appling Archers shoot will be held May 25-27. Big Jim on another site said he would be there. They have camp sites available and last year they gave away a free t-shirt if you pre-registed. Meals on Friday and Saturday were included. Very nice bunch of people. This is just outside of Augusta Ga.
