Lemon wood heart wood for belly wood?

Any one ever use the heart wood from Lemon wood? As a belly wood that is.

I've never seem lemonwood with grain like that. The stuff I've seen had no grain showing.

I cant find much info on it Pat. One old article says the heart wood is stronger than the sap wood. Found a few pics of lemon wood that color just wasn't mixed with sap wood. Its really pretty though. Try and google lemon wood heart wood and ya get some wacky results.

If that 2nd one is curly grain you don't want to use it for working limbs.

The second pic in my first post or the pics in the second post, those I found online. Ive decided to use Osage for the swap, should be the safest way to go. I can do it.
