The Classifieds & this Site
« on: February 09, 2007, 09:45:00 PM »
I don't know where to post this other then here, so.
I just purchased a bow, quiver and arrows, (I have a few other items comming as well), but I just wanted to say, I am pleased with what all I've received, good items and fair prices, honest folks !
I'm new on here and have been doing a lot of reading, refreshing my tired ole brain, and relearning a lot. I've been out of touch with the bow for awhile and am looking forward to get'n back at it.
The past 8 or so years, I've been tied up in a lot of 18th century reenacting. This past year I took a break from all of that and fell back into wanting to start shooting my bows more. A good freind of mine told me about a website, that eventually led me here, I'm glad it did.
Any way "Tradgang", thanks for being here, I am nothing but pleased and I look forward to one day, meeting up with some of you folks.
Until then,
Jerald Eyer

I have had nothing but positive experiences on this site. This includes asking for help, buying from members and sponsors.I got my first piece of custom archery equipement from Mike's Archery Leather, an arm guard made to my specifications. Mike made it exactly as I wanted it and it is great craftsmanship  http://www.mikesarcheryleather.com/

jerald,
you might want to also consider joining the Traditional Bowhunters of Georgia- if you look down the list of forums you will find one for us-we have many events/shoots during each year and hunts in the fall and winter for you to participate in and enjoy the cameraderie of like minded individuals and their families.

We have a great newsletter that comes out 4 times a year as well. Where in SE GA are you- Darien, Brunswick, Waycross, Vidalia?

Howdy Ray,
I was from up around your way, Carrollton. The company I work for, Tebarco Mechanical, (from Alpharetta by the way), landed some work down here on Sea Island, so I'm staying in Brunswick for the time being. We'll eventually be moving back up there, sometime.
That was the site my freind gave me, The Traditional Bowhunters of Georgia. I had planned on joinning, just had'nt gotten around to it yet, thanks for the invite. I guess I need to drop down there and introduce myself. I was just reading about the hog hunt ya'll recently had, sounded like a good time.
