Pope and Young Feathers?
«

I was surfing the web for my brother and he got to liking the "pope and young" style of fletching. They are similar to sheilds but with a straight back.
I was curious if these can be ordered or is it easier just to order shield/parabolic and simply cut the back myself to form the angle desired?

Well, I don't believe I have ever seen this shape offered for sale, but you can buy full length feathers and a chopper. That will involve some expense but you will have what you want.
With that said, you might contact Herb's Archery, I "think" he offers some different shapes and may be able to help you out.
Good luck.

If you want to spend a little money buy a feather burner and the options are endless.

Yes. Buy full length and chop or burn. Can also cut them with a scissors using a thin cardboard template.
