DOWNSIZING PHOTOS

hey gang please forgive my giant pics on here.
i'm not remembering how to downsize a photo from my folder before i send to photobucket.
             please help danny     :banghead:

you can simpley downsize it once u uploaded it on photobucket...just goto  the edit and you should see somthin about changin size

I think it gives you the option to size it to "Messageboard" size.  Click on 'edit photo', then 'preset sizes', and I think its 'messageboard size'.  600x400 or something close to that.

Please keep all image widths no wider than 640 pixels.

It's only the image width we're concerned about - the length can be just about anything reasonable.  

If yer using Photobucket, they've recently added a whole buncha neat imaging tools.

So, load yer big ol' image up to Photobucket, and then edit it down to 640 pixels or less in width.  And if need be, you can sharpen or lighten or darken the image as need be.  Neat!

Log on to your Photo bucket and click on edit and then resize to 600x400. Check that 'Keep proportions ' is clicked.
