Mountain Monarch
« on: May 30, 2018, 10:19:44 PM »
I was in South Georgia today for work and picked up my new Mountain Monarch from Big Jim.  It was a tough drive from Albany to Tallahassee having to stare at her with several client stops in between but we made it.

Bow is 51# @ 28”, Buckeye limbs, macassar & spalted myrtle burl riser. Sheep overlays & tips. Super smooth drawing, fast and quiet! Here’s a few pics.

Congrats Nole! Hope to see you and nineworlds9 at the next Horse Creek shoot. Did you ever get a bow sorted out for your daughter? I’d be happy to bring my girls’ bows along so she could try them.

Best,

Thanks Dave, I did get a bow for my daughter.  It’s the bow from South Cox that has the trade in limb program as they grow. I am waiting for her birthday on 6/28 to give it to her though.  Hopefully we can make the next two shoots.

Excellent! I have a hard time waiting to give things like that :biglaugh:

One of my girls is left eye dominant I’m 95% sure, so I ordered a double shelf Pup from Mike McCredy (Maddog). It will serve her needs, whichever way she needs to shoot, and the two little ones coming up behind her will be able to use it too. At this point we have more kids bows than adult!
