Lost one of the herd!

Well, I was out this morning, and I saw a few buzzards circling out in front of my house. I went to investigate, and found something that was very sad. A doe had apparently died while giving birth sometime this morning or last night. I guess it is just part of nature, but now that I own my own property, I get to see first hand a little more how cruel mother nature can be sometimes.
As for the buzzards, well, they are just doing what God put them here to do!

Mother nature can deal a far crueler hand than man can at times. The circle of life.

Yep, it's all just a part of the cycle of life. Who can understand it?

Yes, at times it is tough to see how nature works. Last fall, I was camping out with my grand children, and I got up to use the bathroom. I heard a deer die when caught by the coyotes. I was really glad the little ones did not wake up to hear it.

That is always sad to see.
