The Toms never came within recurve range this season, but I did film a hen strutting and fanning with my jake decoy near by. You can see her near the last part of this film clip. Mike

I may have seen a small beard on that girl, too. Older hen? Heck, I ain't gonna judge.

Yes I saw the beard too. I got kind of excited when I saw the tips of the full fan coming at me before she broke the crest of the hill, thinking a Tom was coming back. Finally she broke the top, and I could see his/her head. Then laying my bow down and filmed the now pretty evident hen. Mike
