Hi Gang,
Im kind of new here and got the bow building bug .. I want to build a laminated wood bow. What size would you saw your rough lumber ?
ps- i have a mill close by.

It not so much the boards but what type of laminated bow your going to build and what the material is. In any case get the straightest grained lumber you can find. Your laminations are going to be pretty thin compared to what a mill is going to cut for you, less than an inch in most cases so you'll need a way to get those laminations made.
There are several build alongs and websites that have good tutorials on how to make laminations.
