Was able to get to ETAR on Saturday for a couple of hours to say "hi" to friends and meet some new folks which was all great. The beauty of the bows on display was staggering. I have to say, though, that even though it is great to have all of that stuff-- vendors, shooting,etc--in one place, the mud made it pretty unpleasant and often downright smelly in the vendor areas. I haven't been there before, but others were saying the attendance was down (looked crowded to me, especially in the camping/parking areas) and I got the impression that the event has outgrown the setting. Seemed like more space is needed going forward. I know we can't control the weather, but I wished I had brought my rubber boots.
