Limd cloth covert
« on: August 31, 2018, 07:39:14 PM »
Been messing with a 40# frankenbow.found a set of old school cloth limb covers and put them on.they was kinda slick fabric, and when I strung the bow up,string slipped off the nock.tried again, string finally set,but first pull, string popped off bottom nock.just saying, the old school cloth limb covers might mess ya up.there off and waiting for a rattle can camo job.

I've never been shy about spray can camo and like Dan prefer it to the cloth covers, but I recently acquired a 1956 Kodiak that came with camo cloth limb covers that clearly kept it in good shape for 62 years, so I'm going to learn to tolerate them. Who knows, Dan...with all these pretty custom bows the covers may make a comeback and you can figure out a better way to make them stay put and out of the string groove. Then you're off to the races.  Matching Boxcall bucket hat and limb covers...a "Boxed" set!

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.
