I spares this kid last year hoping to see him really develop but a car got him yesterday :-/

Nice buck got hit a few miles from my farm this afternoon. .... still in velvet. He did a number on the van that hit him and the folks that were trying to load him into their truck were having a hard time. Looked to be a respectable 10 point.
If season opened the 1st of September instead of the 15th, somebody may have got to him before that van......
Better him than a doe with triplets!

That's frustrating. Always bothers me when they make it through deer season and then end up getting smoked on the road.
