Welcome to the Gang!! Sounds like you'll need some vacation time here in the U.S.A someday to put those bows to use on some game.    :campfire:

Last I heard of Elmer Kieth he was bragging about shooting an Eagle off a telephone pole about 60 yds away. Never wanted to hear anymore. Biff

Thank you for the warm greetings to welcome me at the campfire.

I'm living at in the Teutoburger Wald area not far away from the place where the Romans were defeated by Herman the Cherusker and his men and not to far away from our companion, V-Archer. It's about 70 km to the German/Netherland border.

Would love to visit those historical lands Stephan, my paternal grandmother's family Vreeland came from the Netherlands...which reminds me of V-Archer who sure makes a beauty of a bow too

Glad to have you

Willkommen!

Your German is very good!

Bamberg, Dresden and Leipzig are among the most beautiful cities in Germany. Especially Bamberg must be the top of the line. Unfortunately I've never been in one of them.
But I saw Dresden while driving on the highway after a hunting weekend about 30 km away from Dresden.
My wife's Grandmother and my father in law have luckily seen Dresden before it was almost destroyed during WWII. It was of course more beautiful in those days than it will ever be.

Vielen Dank. Jetzt habe ich zwei kleinen Kinder und seit zwoelf Jahren bin ich weg von Dland. Die Zeit da hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Welcome to tradgang. I got back into shooting my old Bear Kodiak Magnum after awhile on the dark side (compound). Now I am seriously considering a longbow in the Howard Hill style. That for me is classic traditional style.
