I usually trap only at the end for fine tuning or if I can't narrow a limb any more...
I say shoot it, draw it on a cable and see if the limbs are bending the same at three under or split and see if the cable stays centered, Put it on a tillering stick, trace the limbs on paper and sand where needed and / or accurately measure the limb widths in 3 or 4 spots and compare...... If everything happens to be matching nicely and you need to slightly change the tiller just round the corners off jus a hair more on one limb...
It is more important to have a good shooting bow than to make weight...
