I just want to mention that my bowstring (image in previous post) was custom built for me by Pierre at SBD Bowstrings. I had never experienced the advantages of adjustable tie-on nock points until this string. Finding the correct/best nock height was a simple matter of threading the nock point(s) up or down the serving in between test shots. I'm all over the floss and glue deal now. Thanks Pierre and SBD.

Yupper Tim.

I have another one but it's a long video, so I didn't post it.

If ya want, I'll pm it to ya?

I do my tie ons with about 12 over hand knots, alternating left over right on top and bottom of the string as I do them.

I make mine about 3/8th  inches long.

I do the same as this^^^^^^, only I stop at the 5th alternating overhand knot!

I use Halo .30 and recently bought a spool or red "Nock tying " thread on a 75 yard spool from Lancaster Archery for $6.00.... It doesn't unravel at the tag ends and just a little heat from a lighter will melt it in after you are done making the nock. I learned from a video Rick Barbee had and so far the easiest to learn for me anyway. It turns like a nut on a bolt up and down for fine tuning and doesn't slip. One thing I don't do is use any sort of super glue cause I think it ooze's through and can cause the string to severe there but that may just be me and everyone has their own opinion on the glue issue. Not wanting to debate the issue but if you like glue go for it but for me i stay clear of it.

Yes Roy that is one the easiest for me to do and I like it the best but others may have a different way. For me I like it and thanks for bringing it for others to watch and try. Just another way to "Skin a cat" :archer:

Cool.

There are many ways to skin a cat.

A guy just has to use the method he prefers I guess..

They all do the same thing though.

Same here but I do a double pass through on the over hand.
